Every couple of days there’s new evidence about this claim.
The designers are nice, the vibes are good and the people themselves are fun.
And if you still can’t believe it,
Here’s a quick story for you.
Not long ago, a puzzle series by Alan Lunsford called Cop Out was up for sale on his Etsy.
But only to the US.
So I asked my buddy Tanner to help me with it.
He agreed to order the set to his home and send it to me.
However, when I asked for his Paypal to pay for the deed,
He refused to cooperate!
Not only that, he also included a very heartwarming letter inside,
AND a cool shirt with his Youtube Channel‘s logo, What Did I Get Myself Into!
In his channel he solves puzzles – we like puzzles –
With his very adorable 6 year-old Geneva, and they both enjoy the puzzles so much,
That you can’t stop yourself from smiling while watching their videos.
For the 21 year old me it’s also a masterclass in parenting.
This act of kindness blew me away.
I was soooo happy when they arrived, but that’s not the end of it –
Three puzzles now had to be solved! Extra enjoyment!
First Impressions
The Cop Out series is a series of 3 puzzles,
Where the objective is to remove a coin (a copper) from a small green container.
All three puzzles also have two sliders that interact with the container.
You can see the coin, but the contents are hidden from the naked eye.
Turn on your imagination!

Overflowing with joy, I started with Cop Out 1.
It was a quick but fun a-ha moment that led to the solution.
Took maybe 2-3 minutes.
Cute introduction, I thought,
Let’s see what’s next.
Then I started Cop Out 2.
And I immediately got scratching my head.
Scratch scratch.
Decided to move to the next one for now.
Cop Out 3 was very fun.
I literally smiled because of it.
Not for long though because this bastard kept me confused too.
And then I got a phone call.
Funnily enough, after a couple minutes of talking,
I had a super amusing a-ha moment.
There’s no way that will work!
Very politely, while continuing the call, I executed the idea.
Which worked perfectly! Ayyyyyy
‘Twas a fun call. Very producive!
After the call has ended though, I returned to Cop Out 2.
That head-scratcher had to be defeated.
So after imagining something for a while, it ended up being very logical.
This time the execution was a challenge as well, but when I got it right…
Awesome!
I couldn’t help it,
Just had to shout it loudly.
Because that’s what the solution was like.
I really liked how each puzzle had a different approach and solution,
While maintaining progressive learning.
My favorite? Easily number 3.
Verdict
The set of 3 Cop Outs is, in practice,
20 bucks for three cool challenges with unique mecahnisms that challenge your imagination.
That’s a steal.
Thank you Tanner for making this post a reality!
Keep up your great work and top-tier education!
