5 Best Puzzles for Christmas Gifts in 2021

Winter is coming and with it, Christmas,

And what’s a better way to celebrate Christmas than a good old gift to your beloved ones?

As a puzzle YouTuber, I made a list of the top FIVE best presents you can buy for your dear ones on Christmas.

So, let’s start with NUMBER 5.

5-Amazing Puzzle for Children

Number FIVE is the Hanayama Cast loop. It’s level 1 in Hanayama which is a metal puzzle pretty cheap only around fifteen dollars and it’s very good for kids and beginners at puzzling. You can get one here.

If you do want something a bit more difficult from Hanayama you can go on with any of your puzzles. Just stay away from Vortex and Hourglass unless you want your giftee to hate you.

4-For Those Who Have Good Spatial Thinking

Number FOUR is any TIC from Andrew Crowell,  Andrew makes these really pretty puzzles that are very hate-worthy and very affordable as well. They require more spatial thinking and they are very good for your very smart husband or a genius friend.

He also has a range of block puzzles that are inserted in a kind of a block, or brick.

And your goal is to remove something it can be a key or it can even be a sword. Very good puzzles and very cheap as well.

3-Creative Packing Puzzles by Yuu Asaka

Number THREE is a packing puzzle by Yuu Asaka. Yuu Asaka’s designs are very creative and mind-blowing. They are very out of the box. He’s renowned for his sneaky creative design.

Just make sure you don’t buy ICE 9 because that’ll be heartbreaking. Two puzzles that I would recommend for beginners of all youngsters would be the OLEO 10 and the Jigsaw 19.

2-One of the Best Puzzles Ever – DANLOCK – and One of the Best Christmas Gifts

You know that ordinary locks can be puzzles as well. Meet DANLOCK an evolutionary lock puzzle that started a whole new range of puzzles.

It’s just a normal padlock it comes with two keys one of which is broken. The goal is to simply open and close the lock.

How hard can it be though?

DANLOCK is one of the best puzzles in the puzzle industry a bit not very cheap. Many people refer to it as one of the BEST puzzles ever. And for many others, it was the puzzle that started their puzzle addiction.

If you find DANLOCK too expensive for you make sure you check out both Feldman’s website. Where’s he sells DANLOCK and also many more lock puzzles that he himself invented like the B.LOCK 1 and B.LOCK 2.

Notable mention to B.LOCK 2 which is a very, very cool any playable puzzle lock that is much more affordable but also much easier.

1-Expand Their Mind with Revomaze Aqua – a Christmas Gift for Adults

If you’re a long-time subscriber and reader you probably would be able to guess what is my number ONE present for Christmas.

It’s a Revomaze!

Revomaze Aqua in fact.

Revomaze is my favorite series of puzzles and it includes a whole new dimension of cognitive thinking. The moment you pick up this puzzle you will find yourself in places you will never be able to explore in your brain. You will feel something different.

You will need to learn mechanically new skills in new ways of thinking which is amazing. I will shortly explain what a Revomaze is:

Basically, how the Revomaze works – you have a maze and a pin that navigates it. You cannot see the maze but the maze is three-dimensional because the pin is sprung. Whenever you go from a high path to a lower path you fall into a trap and need to actually reset the puzzle and start over again.

This is something that makes Revomaze really unique and aside from being just a normal maze puzzle it also implements the dexterity element because it’s very difficult to navigate at first.

You can also use the promo code RevoWanderer on the Revomaze website to get 5% off your entire order!

Anyway, that was it for my top FIVE presents to buy for Christmas gifts. Hopefully, you found a good present to buy for your beloved ones, and if not make sure you check out my channel for more reviews, puzzle ideas and gift ideas you can choose from.
