Today I’ll try to solve the newest puzzle from Escape Welt – the Fort Knox Pro – a strictly improved and harder version of the Fort Knox puzzle which I already solved on the channel. I will also compare this version to the previous version as clearly as I can.
The Fort Knox PRO is a puzzle box of a fantastic type (and one we really like at Puzzle Wanderer) – it’s an Escape Room in a Box. I’ve previously solved many super cool Escape Room Puzzle boxes, like Schrodinger’s Cat, Davy Jones’ Locker, Quest Pyramid, and many others. They seem to be a favorite of y’all too!
There are a few reasons why I believe the current version is better than the Fort Knox Box:
- Its build quality is significantly better.
- It’s a bit of a more interesting solve, compared to the original Fort Knox
- The feel on this one is just better. The previous one felt clunkier
That around sums it up.
But what I really like is that when a puzzle feels better, the solve becomes less frustrating and the solving experience is just on a whole other level.
I think that’s also the reason why I prefer solving mechanical puzzles rather than sudokus or other paper puzzles (although I used to solve lots of them too) – I like feeling the puzzle, touching it, and scribbling ideas in a notebook. That kind of stuff.

Fort Knox PRO – the Verdict
Escape Welt hit the jackpot.
The difficulty? Not too easy but also not brutally hard. Definitely one of the better choices from Escape Welt!
