I am extremely lucky to have tried this monster of a puzzle. The Tippenary Mystery Tour is incredible.
Read this review only if you have really strong will, because after reading it – you won’t be able to resist this puzzle.
The biggest problem is that this puzzle is extremely rare, 30 copies made, ever.
The Tippenary Mystery Tour
A big thanks goes to Yael Meron and her boyfriend, Martin, for lending me this puzzle.
Let’s start with the basics.
It’s very high quality and well made by Jack Krijnen himself, who designed a whole lot of puzzles.
I like its physical design, how it looks, the woods, the interesting wooden scent, which is stronger than normal – maybe because of its large size.
Anyway, this puzzle is a multi-layered sequential discovery puzzle. It’s not just a sequential discovery puzzle,
it’s a sequential discovery puzzle that has everything.
It has so many different puzzle types, three or four puzzle types go into it, and there are many stages too.
Exploring the Tippenary Mystery Tour
The first part of it was really fun and interesting. Pretty simple.
The second part was quite amazing. It was really mind-blowing for me to see it implemented in a puzzle of this sort.
When Martin gave me this puzzle he said I will need a pen and paper and a lot of time to solve this part.
I didn’t use any pen nor any paper.
I kind of found an easy way to do it but it was still extremely fun and this is perhaps my favorite part of the puzzle.
The next part was fairly easy for me, but I’m proficient in that kind of puzzles.
In the moment I saw the last part my face paled.
How many puzzling can you fit in a puzzle?!
And this was not even the end!
There was another surprise for brave puzzlers.
Then, there’s even more challenges!!

I don’t review this puzzle because it’s obtainable.
In fact, I’m not sure it will ever be obtainable other than in auctions but man, this is the ultimate puzzle.
I’m not kidding.
This is the best puzzle I ever tried. It has everything that a puzzle needs and there is not even one puzzler who will solve it from beginning to end and not find at least one thing he’ll like.
And there are a lot of things to like.
I liked it from the beginning to the end.
This was such a journey, every day I tried for one-two hours because I only had this five days to solve it until I pass it to the next person and wow, this was amazing.

This is a very rare puzzle that no one will be able to buy other than the most serious puzzles – but you should try it if you manage to see one!
